The GRIT Center at Snow College was funded by the Utah State Legislature and opened November of 2019. Here, through experiential learning, students develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Students have the opportunity to participate in diverse entrepreneurial programming and win funding to put their ideas into action through GRIT Center pitch competitions.

About the Event
Jerry Cluff was born in SLC Utah in 1968, and his parents are Jay and Janice Cluff. Their family moved to Manti when Jerry was four, and he started working in his father’s construction business building fences when he was ten. Jerry served as a Missionary in Ecuador for two years and then married Kimberly in 1990 while attending Snow College. Jerry graduated from Snow with an associates of arts in building Construction with a minor in Spanish. Jerry took over his father’s business in 1992. Since then he has built a few homes, installed lots of kitchens, insulated many turkey sheds, businesses and homes, poured lots of cement, and mostly has built a countless number of cedar, vinyl, chain link, and farm field fences. Jerry and Kimberly while living in Manti had eight children, five girls and three boys. Five years ago they moved to Ephraim and now they…
