The GRIT Center at Snow College was funded by the Utah State Legislature and opened November of 2019. Here, through experiential learning, students develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Students have the opportunity to participate in diverse entrepreneurial programming and win funding to put their ideas into action through GRIT Center pitch competitions.

About the Event
Rick Roberts is the founder and head of sales and marketing at Ravn, a technology company he co-founded in 2017 that has grown to nearly 200 employees. Under his leadership, Ravn has helped hundreds of companies scale their operations, with several clients growing from initial concepts to securing tens of millions in funding. The company's client portfolio includes industry leaders like Google, Pinterest, Best Buy, and Skullcandy.
His journey began at Snow College, where he played basketball before continuing his athletic career at Southern Utah University. After completing his Information Systems degree at BYU, Roberts worked as a software engineer in Chicago, immersing himself in the startup ecosystem. He later returned to Utah for roles at Instructure and other startups before founding Ravn.
