The GRIT Center at Snow College was funded by the Utah State Legislature and opened November of 2019. Here, through experiential learning, students develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Students have the opportunity to participate in diverse entrepreneurial programming and win funding to put their ideas into action through GRIT Center pitch competitions.

About the Event
Tanner Thompson is an entrepreneur and owner of multiple Utah companies. Over the past decade, he has acquired or founded The Shirt Stop, Swear Studio, Wildcat Fulfillment, and Petal Lane. Tanner has taken what started out as a small-town print shop and built it into a group of companies that generate 8 figures in yearly revenue. Tanner employs over 80 people that manufacture and design products for some of the nation’s top brands. Tanner lives in Richfield, UT with his wife McKenzie and their 4 kids.
